Catching up.
What can you say about a movie where the opening line goes 'bewakoof aur chutiye mein dhaage bhar ka farak hota hai' ? Just got back from watching Omkara. Amazing movie just like Vishal Bharadwaj's earlier work Maqbool. This guy is incredible.
Term break once again. Catching up on a billion things. Chores - tackling unpaid bills lying all around my room (credit card, mobile, etc.), getting life back on track, planning for the equity research focus group (fin club) activities which i'm in charge of, spending leisurely time talking to friends, parents (whom i gloriously neglected through the term), spending time with R, realizing for the Nth time how patient she has been all through the term when every phone call from my side used to go like"hi, whats up? uh huh. ok. cool. listen i'll talk to you later. gotta run." total duration - about 5o secs. Life outside of ISB goes on at a normal pace; not at the speed of light as it does here. Realized that too for the Nth time in the past 3 days. Catching up on how the last few months have been. Trying to setup the next few. 3 terms done already. 4.5 months spent here. Zap!
Each of us has been relaxing in his/her own way. Disco is out to Chennai to put shape to past relationships. 'Dude' to Bangalore to give shape to new ones maybe. Dada in his own world as usual - drinking, sleeping. Johnsi to present his paper to Coimbatore. DD breaking his own sleep records. Laks - kiddo is having fun. FB out to Dubai. Some out to visit friends. Others have friends visiting. Somehow the sun seems to shine brighter, the breeze is cooler and life is awesome during term breaks. Ho hum!
I promise to blog more regularly. Ok, I know you're saying 'f@&* you' , showing me the finger and laughing your ass off considering how my past promises in this area have been. But, I continue to try. Bear with me. It'll work out.
New look to the blog. Supposed to signify a cleaner, lesser cluttered, more organized look to the blog. So also to my life. Hasta luego! Or as Laks would put it 'have fun!'
